# Land Takeoffs > Self-serve sitework takeoffs from a stamped civil plan-set PDF and/or a CAD file (DWG, DXF, or LandXML). Each quantity names the source sheet or file and a confidence level. Lines the drawings do not show are listed, not guessed. Upload a stamped civil PDF, a CAD file, or both, in the browser or through Claude or ChatGPT. A PDF plan set returns sitework quantities with the sheet each line came from, including storm, sanitary sewer, water, erosion control, clearing, earthwork, paving, and concrete. Curb length is measured from the DWG. A DWG or LandXML returns a measured cut and fill balance, existing surface to proposed surface. Sent together, earthwork comes from the CAD and the other lines come from the plans, in one takeoff. A finished takeoff includes an Excel bid sheet and a PDF summary. Every CAD takeoff also includes a 45-second project video, four still images drawn from that project's CAD layers and contours, and a free 3D share link. Takeoffs use prepaid credits. The first takeoff is free and does not ask for a card. One credit covers one takeoff: a plan set up to 100 pages, plus one credit per further 100 pages. A CAD file and its plan set together are one takeoff. A takeoff that fails is not charged. Downloads and status checks do not use a credit. Pack prices are on the homepage pricing section.
